we are going with a nine year old to disney 1/6/2006 for 14 nights staying at lbv comfort inn and have 14 day disney pass can you give us as many hints, tips old itenaries as poss please, Any handy hints re golf would also be a ppreciated

We have stayed twice at the Comfort Inn, great location for all the parks. Use the route up Palm Parkway to Turkey Lake road for Universal and Seaworld avoiding the I4 traffic. No problems there, staff are very friendly. They serve a complimentary continental breakfast or you can pay extra for the full buffet, I'd advise not to bother with this as there are nicer breakfast choices close by. You can walk to the restaurants and shops at the Vista Centre and Crossroads, lots of choice there for the evenings.

Just ask if there's anything you need to know (but not about golf )

There is info on the shuttles on their website here. We have always had a car so never used the buses, sorry.

Welcome to the Dibb! I think - if I've got my dates right that you will arrive the week of a holiday over there - its Memorial day at the same time as our Spring Bank holiday Monday ... I think that's right ? It should quieten down after that week though.

Hi,
We were at the Comfort Inn last month. We always used the shuttle buses, and found them to be great timings for us, except the seaworld/universal ones. The hotel was good... we did opt to have the breakfast every morning (the free one)... as we wanted to get to the parks early enough each day.

What was the comfort inn like, how would you rate it?

I would check the dates the Star Wars Conventions are on at MGM and unless you are a Star Wars fan avoid this park at weekends as it will be full. We went late May and the convention was on last two week ends in May and first two in June.
If you like star wars then there are extra events on in MGM during this period so it would be worth visting but be prepared for queues.
