Guess who saved by flying TC ? Day 1 Travel and 1st night
Leander and I, (Mitch), went to Orlando for 11 nights in September, the !5th to the 26th. We flew Thomas Cook out and Virgin Atlantic back. Our stays were, the first night ASMovies in Love Bug, the next eight nights in OKW 1BrVilla, and the last two nights at GF Main building Club Level. All three were very different, but for atmosphere, you cant beat the All Stars. Seriously.
We drove up to Manchester on the saturday from Fishguard and stayed at the Crowne Plaza with parking and as I had a tidy deal with one of the airport hotel sites, we had access to the Exec. Lounge. Total waste of money, but as it was the weekend, we got access to the buffet breakfast in the morning.Time for one of these beauties After a great flight we jumped on the DME to the All Stars where we had a much wanted dinner at the food court. The atmosphere that evening, as I said, was pretty good, plenty of laughter and people having a good time. We went to bed as we had to go to WalMart in the morning, to get stuff for Old Key West

not sure I believe you about the atmosphere at all stars beating the grand Flo, but as I haven't stayed at either I shouldn't really be too quick to judge

Perhaps different would be a better word. The GF is very serene and personal. To such a degree that you dont feel part of a "gang", like you do in other resorts. But, wow, iit was special

All Stars is a great family resort and it is very Disneyfied which adds to a great atmosphere. Been to Pop and POR, All Stars has one if the best Disney decors in my opinion.
