My actifry doesn't smell of anythi g other than what I put in it. I often add sweet paprika and garlic to my chips, so it would smell of that, but no oily frying smell at all.

Yes. Technically you could do potatoes in a similar way in the oven. But would need a lot of attention stirring them, turning them over etc. Same with tomato based sauces etc.

For me, it's just so easy to chuck it all in and switch it on!

We were given a Tower Airfryer as a gift last year we mainly do saute potatoes or chips in it and think it is brilliant, so much healthier and easier to clean than our old deep fryer.

Just an update if anyone is interested. We eventually went with a 3.2 litre Tower airfryer. No smell, no noisier than a kettle, easy to clean, and chips are lovely, as well as mozzarella sticks.

I have the Actifry and love it. I have cooked so many things in it I never through possible and would not be without it now at all. Worth every penny. I love that it has a stirrer as it keeps things moving and means i can generally put it on and forget it for chips etc

Has anyone tried cooking sprouts in an airfryer? How did they come out?
