Star Wars Galactic Desert Party @ HWS

Hi there,

We are thinking of doing the Star Wars Galactic Desert Party at Hollywood Studios.

Can anyone tell me if the World of Animation and Galactic Spectacular run straight after each other?

What does the buffet include in terms of sweet and savory?

Thanks!

We were thinking of doing this next year as my son is SW crazy. Researched it - there’s a great Tim Tracker you tube video showing you all the food and drink etc - and have decided not to do it. You can see all the exhibits and meet the characters anyway. You can see the show anyway - and apparently in better locations. You’d have to eat a LOT of sweet things to justify the price I feel.

Watched both World of Animation and Star Wars Fireworks one after the other in Aug, it was amazing to watch. This was without the dessert party.

Yes we did it last night. Both shows are included and run back to back. A few savoury options, mainly flat breads, dips, cheeses and cured meats.

There isn’t a table while you watch the shows. You have to sit on the ground. But yes you can take food and drinks out.

You stood at a table while eating as well in the launch bay .

For the actual party you get allocated a table with chairs now but for the show you are outside sitting on the concrete as said. It’s not comfortable and everyone sits so it would feel awkward standing although if you made you were at the back or the side you may be ok.
