Internal flights- who & when?
I'm going to need a flight from LAX to MCO next October. When is best to book, when it first comes out or nearer? & which airlines are best for internal flights, Thanks

Southwest have some good prices, but only release flights around 6 months in advance.

Remember to allow for luggage charges, it's not included in most internal flights.

We've used a few, southwest (luggage included in cost),spirit (budget Easyjet type of airline),virgin America, delta. All were fine and would use either again. We tend to book a few months before, but if your brave you can get some brilliant deals week before. Catching an internal flight in USA is often used for commuting to and from work for them, there's one every 10mins and you don't need to be there two hours before,1 hour is easily enough time.

I don't know which routes Southwest do, but as stated above they include luggage in the price, and we found booking on release day was v cheap !

Thanks for all your replies, I'll just keep looking! Not sure I'm brave enough for a week before though!
I need a specific day & time so when I see a good price I'll book! Hoping for both flights around £300?
