Yes we really are boring in real life too

Great to see you all and - yes, I know where you are next summer

We are not going next year

Such a lovely day--bus delay not withstanding

Garden Grill breakfast is so lovely... our DD (9) still says this was her favourite meal in WDW, all because of the cinnamon roll

I cant believe I didn't try a Mickey pretzel when I was there last year, feel like a total Disney fraud! LOL Always next time

Sounds like such a great day... can’t believe how many steps you did!
I like that GG is definite maybe it's great at dinner too. I really like the rotation going through all the scenes from living with the land, plus the characters of course. I'm going to reply struggle to not book it up again next year but we should try somewhere new.

Your DD has good taste that cinnamon roll was tasty!

You're right you'll have rectify that error but it's a great reason to have to go back... Must do better on the Mickey pretzel next year

I was getting agitated just reading about the start to the day, I’d have been fuming that I missed the bus. Nik is slow to get ready in the morning and it causes me no end of stress. You’d have also been on the naughty list for forgetting your ears in the afternoon and having to go back to the room, even though you made it back for the bus you’d have gotten the silent treatment.

Drooling over your Garden Grill pictures, it is such a fab breakfast, in the past I’ve said it’s a bit dull but it is just so tasty.

How awesome to have a Dibb meet up, you are very brave, I don’t think I could do it even though I met lots of online people IRL when I was younger. Fab Photo, I noticed Max hiding because his mum is a crazy person meeting people off the internet and look at Joe’s tan!

You’ve got some really great candid shots today of everyone smiling, it’s so lovely knowing they were having a great time.

I was a bit twitchy at the start of the day too, but I think the fact Mum was so cross he was late meant I didn't need to be cross with him. Plus I'm a proper Daddy's girl even at 42 it was so lovely to sit next to him on Soarin and get all the oohs and aahs from him, it made up for it all.

Now you know that Nik can get ready quickly though, if he needs to. Fingers crossed he's better at getting ready this year.

I don't want to be on your naughty list, our room was next to the car park behind the bus stop. At walking speed it took maybe 1 minute to get from the room to the bus stop at a brisk walk (I wasn't about to run) it was 45 seconds. The ears were worth it!

I think you may have actually quoted Max. I got lots of "you wouldn't want me to meet up with someone I met online would you?" from him. And of course he's right. It was hard to explain to him about getting to know people over months, or even years, he saw only the black and white of it. In the end I said that we were just going to have 1 drink and if it didn't work out and we thought they were really axe murderers then we'd leave. It turns out they weren't axe murderers oh and Joe was who I spotted first, I said something like "i recognise you" which, with hindsight, might have made him think I was the stalker, axe murderer type!

I went back through to look at the photos, you're right, they do actually seem happy if only I'd stopped worrying about it at the time.

Ooh, definitely some silent tutting having to let the first Epcot bus go.
Great morning though. You have done well with the rides .. except Figment.
How lovely to get a mini DIBB meet in.
Shame there was rain , you did make the best of it though. And looks like a lot of fun at the sing along.
I just can’t decide about that cheese on the hot dog ... it’s so... yellow !

And I love the resort pics. The horse head hitching posts... straight out of NOLA. Love it.

The bus and then bag check delay was a right pain in the butt. Some hefty silent tutting was going on

There was a fair bit of rain this trip, certainly more than we're used to.

It was a very pretty resort, one day we'll make to the real NOLA

Perhaps I wasn't as good at hiding it as I hoped! The kids are really hoping club cool is going to be back in operation by next summer and that it's not gone forever.

There are 2 reasons why B1 is the best. There is no bendiness to the picture and no dangling feet! The theatre for Soarin is split into 3 sections, A B C and if you're in A or C then you're at the side and everything is all a bit bendy on the screen, but if you're in B then you're in the centre so no bendy Eiffel tower. Each section is split into 3 rows, rows 2 and 3 are middle and bottom and you can see the feet of the people in the row above dangling. Row 1 is the top row and so no feet hanging down. We've done Soarin from the side and from other rows and it's not the same, it's much more immersive being in B1. I'm glad I was brave enough to ask if we could wait. The cast member was fine and happy for us to wait.

Another great day, well when the bus got you there
I can’t believe your dad didn’t follow Disney protocol I think there must have been a few areas of the planning schedule he missed during training
Garden Grill looked lovely, I want to eat the cinnamon buns.
My girls are really going to miss Club Cool-the photos look great, I think the award goes to your mam!
How fab you got to meet up with the Walt4it family too.
It’s nice to see Max being generous with the pizza sharing
And so the love affair of laundry whilst drinking cocktails begins! Bourbon Breeze looks tasty
