His tweet isn't accurate - the fact that they are still selling and still operating literally means that they haven't ceased business operations.

That's obviously something that might still happen overnight, but as of now it's irresponsible tweeting that.

They will have to say that, until it is announced. Whoever's answering you on Twitter will know as much as you and I, but they will be wishing with everything they are that what they're saying is true.

Just discussing with Mrs YT. If it has happened it is quite upsetting even though we knew it was probably coming. We've flown with TC many times to States and Europe including Florida and NYC. My pal's wife is in lower tier management. Shop in our town. Very sad for all concerned, from the punters with hard earned holidays, to the staff.
Every cloud has a silver lining though and I understand the airline business is a good one, so hopefully it could be sold by the administrator, or the slots taken by others who will need more staff etc.

I'd imagine we will hear something very official at 7am but probably will have been told before that
