Mrs S keeps breaking them LOL

Have had good experiences with both Tefal and Morphy Richards ones

PS, being a man, I am unable to explain why they are good, it's an iron, the only iron I can use effectively and have an opinion on is a golf club

I had one from either Lidl or Aldi which was really good. Longish guarantee as well. Worth a look to see if they have any in.

Tefal pro are brilliant. Would never use a standard iron again.

I have a Phillips.

Had a Morphy Richards before which was good but the Phillips is extremely lightweight and you do not adjust the temperature for each fabric so ironing is quicker and not so tiring. Irons well. Downside is the price.

Tefal Pro - get the best model you can afford.

I've had several reconditioned ones off Ebay - all good !

We are on our second Tefal first one gave up the ghost after 14 years and during that time had to iron 15 collared shirts a week plus other ironing and I admit to ironing bedding so was more than happy to have another Tefal which has performed well so far for the last few years.

I have a Bosch that has been going strong for years and years. Will be looking to replace with another Bosch when this goes as it has been fantastic,
