Oh I thought someone had said their husband had made the decision and i thought people were getting offended that they were assuming that they were a male/female couple. I see people are just getting offended over the pronoun though, which is pretty silly. Shakil has liked the post saying about the husband so I don’t think any offence has been taken. People will jump to argue to anything, I don’t think it can be offensive to assume minor things based on posts that give no information. I’ll allow people to assume I’m a princess though 😂

D'you know what ? This is the 2nd thread I've read today (the other is on FB) with a petty squabble about OH, he/she, women vs men etc. On FB a woman (assume she was, called Alison anyway) was moaning that her OH Tom (I assumed it was her boyfriend but I might have been wrong) hadn't proposed to her (or him) yet.

I, in all innocence, told Alison that 2020 is a leap year and it's traditional for a woman to propose to their man on Feb 29th.

Boy (or girl) did I get it in the neck for that light-hearted comment. I'm now expecting to get hate mail, be stalked or trolled.

I don't bl@@dy care what gender Shakil is nor their OH. Their story is very gripping and I wish them a happy holiday.

I'm not offended at all, sorry if it came across like that. It would take an awful lot more than that to offend me! I was just curious as to which adult was posting. Shows how things get twisted when things are written on a forum.

Well I never noticed that about the pink and blue mouse thing. Everyday is a school day on the Dibb!

Anyway, I hope the family are having a fab time in Miami as their alternative would've meant travelling today, so defo did the right thing! 😃
