Mobile Animal Kingdom - 1st ever visit.

Any hints and tips? Have FPs for Na’vix, EE and the Kilimanjaro safari. Dinner at 7 in Tuskers.

Any ideas where to head for breakfast? What should we be thinking of definitely doing?

Despite lots of reading, I still really value all your input!

Definitely try and get on Flight of Passage either at rope drop, or at park closing. Amazing ride - have never been on something like that before.

Also, a lot of people aren't fussed, but I really recommend checking out Rivers of Light. I love it <3

Hi Sara,

Very jealous. AK is our fav park although we haven't been for a few years so cant really help.

Will probably be easier for Dibbers if you give a little more info.

Are you onsite or off?

Ages of kids (if any)?

Any issues re heights, spinning, fast stuff?

When are you going?

I know FoP will be stupidly busy whatever time of the year you go so if haven't got FP's for that maybe head there first?

Have a great time in planning

Shaun

Agree with previous, try to get onto FOP. Disney set the bar at a new high with that.

We’re a family of 4 with 2 daughters, 11 and 13. We’re all pretty happy on all types of rides. Heading off this morning! We have a second day booked next week with FoP - can’t wait! Just had a cuppa and a breakfast bar - milk at the Caribbean is nearly $5 a bottle and it’s small. We have about 5 hrs to kill this pm and now toying with heading to Publix. Thought I’d write a second thread but my as well answer here. We don’t have DDP - not too really worries about that but still don’t want to keep forming out for milk.

Is it easier to get to publix from AK then back to drop off to hotel, then return to AK on free bus?

All the rides are great, but make sure you do The Lion King Show.

My tip - eat at Yak and Yeti - if you don’t want to sit down, they also do counter service! One of the best food places in all of the parks (excluding some at Epcot ) - get there about 45 mins before opening to get straight on FOP. You’ll be on and off so quickly!
It’s quite a slow paced park so you’ll have time to take everything in. I personally think the theming is brilliant in AK. X

Oh - and if you’re a scaredy cat like me then avoid Dinosaur at all costs!

Satuli canteen is delicious if you want something a bit different from chips/burgers/pizzas.
There are some very cute otters near Starbucks to watch!
I love AK, it's my favourite park.
