In my view. Parks with EMH should be avoided if you’re staying off site, all day the park has them. If you’re staying on site and can be organised enough to hit a park 30 minutes before morning EMH you will be rewarded with extremely short lines for 90 minutes. People just cannot get up early. If you then plan FPP well and know your way around you can stay ahead of the crowds, even when they arrive, until late lunch time. After that move on after you’ve maybe done some large capacity shows. I don’t like evening EMH as they are very busy until the last hour and now Disney tend to close earlier they don’t hold much value for me. Evening EMH were much better before all the after hours events were a ‘thing’.

I suppose it depends on the time of year you go. We went to MK last week for it and got most of the big rides done before opening with the exception of SDMT which we had a fast pass for later
