No more in-flight "3 courseMeals" just snacks ?

So, if airlines are not serving 3 course meals, I wonder what the "Snack Meals" will be like...any Dibbers suggestions welcome !

Club/UC... Choose two sandwiches from Cheese/Salmon and Cucumber/BLT/ Egg Mayo/Ham & Mustard (no crust of course ! ), pre packed salad bowl served alongside 4 M & S pre packed mini sausage rolls, large bag of Tyrells crisps and a bottle of spring water, and a miniature alcoholic drink followed by tea/coffee..

PE... Choose one from BLT/Cheese & Tomato/Ham sandwiches, 2 W H Smiths pre packed mini sausage rolls, small pack of ready salted crisps, and EITHER an alcoholic drink or tea/coffee

All Others...
Egg Mayo sandwich and a cup of tea...

Coming back... Lord only knows !

I think your suggestion might be optimistic in the short term, at least on the alcohol front.

No Alcohol , I saw someone had posted they flew business to SandFrancisco and they got a couple of oranges and a bottle of water in a ziploc bag ..I think it was 'the points guy'

Hope its not Egg mayo or the dreaded cheese and red onion VS offering !

I wouldnt be surprised if they lean towards Vegetarian and vegan options

I took this from Virgin's website beginning fo May - cant find it on the website now but it may be an indication of what to expect

Temporary changes to our onboard service

With the rapid acceleration of Covid-19, we’re making some temporary changes to our inflight service. To make sure we provide the safest experience for everyone flying with us, we’re offering our customers a streamlined service. This will include:

One main meal service delivered with juices and soft drinks
Orange juice and water services available throughout your flight

We know how much our customers love the full Virgin Atlantic experience, but we’ve made this decision as the health and safety of our customers and our people is always our top priority. We’ll continue to monitor the situation and will provide an update on our return to full in-flight service as soon as we’re able to do so.

In the meantime, you can still expect a warm Virgin Atlantic welcome from our teams on the ground and in the air. Thank you so much for your support and understanding — it means the world to us right now and we look forward to being able to offer you the full Virgin Atlantic experience again soon.

You can find out more about what we’re doing to ensure your health, safety and peace of mind in our latest travel information.

When you've returned home
