Mobile Face masks in parks

How does everybody feel about wearing face masks in the parks?

Just watched a video of Prince Charming Dev on youtube. He’d been to city walk for a few hours and was reporting that he was really hot, found it difficult to breathe and was really sweaty... now this was the evening and we’re still only in May... For me, I’m not sure that, provided it’s even an option, I would be spending the money to go to Florida if that rule is in place. I just don’t think it would be a pleasant experience. So yeh, what does everyone else think?

There have been a few discussion about this. I have to wear a mask at work most of the day and they can get hot so the thought of it in the Florida heat doesn’t appeal. I also go to WDW to escape real life and wearing a mask would be a constant reminder and put a dampener on the holiday. That said, if it became apparent that we would have to do it for the next few years I suppose I’d have to suck it up. My preference would be to hold off until they’re not necessary.

It cannot possibly be classed as a ‘holiday’ to have to wander around a park in a mask.
We don’t even know how much of each park will be open, that is if you can actually get in if they restrict visitor numbers.
To pay thousands to have to fly 9 hours in a mask, have to wear a mask in parks and not be sure how much is going to be open is not part of an enjoyable holiday.

Sweltering Orlando in the heat with a mask on all day? I think it would be horrific and gross and would totally spoil the entire experience. It's so sad to think that theme parks will have to adhere to this policy for a while.

I’ve heard that masks are useless after 30 mins can anyone clarify 🤔If this is the case you’ll need a whole load of masks stuffed in your rucksack 😳

Depends on whether it's an "illusion" of safety or really is for safety, N95 are being changed every 2 hours at a minimum & the reason they are going through 1000's a day- now the US currently advocates "face coverings"( & pictures of Disney's masks look like just a single layer) which is the reason I say "illusion", how safe are they? WHO flip flop & generally state that they are "good" for those with the virus but nothing to prove otherwise for those that don't in so far as protection if you then factor in how many times you will touch it in a day before it get's washed...
But with no vaccine on the horizon there is always going to be an element of risk & even with one there is nothing to say that you can't still catch "it" but equally we can't live in fear forever IYKWIM

It's a funny meme, it wasn't a serious post, I kind of thought that was obvious!
