1995 Hotel help. Catalina
Can any Dibbers help me find where I stayed on my first WDW trip in 1995 when I was 10. My parents can't remember. My sister thinks it was called the Catalina and I remember it being quite close to Wet n Wild (I think).

We stayed there on our first Florida holiday in 1994 and if memory serves me right it was off the I-4 just past the John young parkway turn off, not sure if it’s before or after the mall of the millennium,a few years back it was a raddison hotel

Yep. It was a Thunderbird Hotel and was just past where the John Young junction is, though I’m not sure the John Young extended that far then, was just a big junction with a normal road. It’s now a massive junction. the hotel is still there and called the Topsecret Resort of Orlando, an adult only resort!

Wow! I know someone here would know. I've been tracking Google maps for years trying to find it based on the shape of the pool. Never got as far up as past Millennia. Thankyou so much!

Wow I remember staying at this hotel so as a teenager! I bought a cabbage patch kid doll with my holiday money and named it Catalina after our hotel! Xx
