Yesterday’s experience of Melbourne airport

Hi

We landed from Edinburgh last evening just after 6pm, air bridge connected through for luggage, then the nicest customers officer ever, through to TUI rep on a small shuttle bus with only 2 other groups, we were almost at international drive by just after 8pm. All in all just on 2 hours from landing to hotel!

We flew into Melbourne on Wednesday and it was the best airport experience we have ever had. Luggage straight off, barely any line at immigration (maybe 2 minutes), immigration officer super friendly and chatty, and no queue at the car hire desk (avis). We decided to drive avoiding tolls and then went the wrong way and hit traffic so it took a while but still way better than Orlando airport in my opinion!
