Radisson Blu Manchester Airport

What would you say is a ‘good’ price for this hotel? I’m getting £222 for a Friday night standard room, or £235 superior room with runway view. We do have a hotels.com free night we can put towards it worth £95.

Is the hotel worth the extra over the Clayton etc? And if we booked, is the superior room runway view worth the extra £13 (presume probably yes for that much)?

We’re wanting to drive down on Friday evening, leave car at the meet and greet, then check in (which I presume would be easy if the hotel is connected to the terminal where we do meet and greet parking). So the car would already be where it’s going to stay for the whole holiday, no moving it etc in the morning.

How many people is that for?

I like the Radisson and only go solo so not sure about the price but you cannot beat the location.

It’s just for the two of us. I enjoy convenience but like a good deal too

I’d definitely up to the superior room , for us we love the convenience of the Radisson. I know there are other hotels that are only a short distance and less ££s so really it’s a personal choice of whether it’s worth the price to you ?

We love the Radisson and would always pick the runway view room. It’s so handy to the airport and the Club Level Facilities are fab too. My DH and DS stayed at the Clayton in December 2021 (we moved their departure date and there was no availability at the Radisson) and they said it was fine. It had a restaurant that was huge and it served ‘pub style’ food. You could also pre-book a complimentary courtesy shuttle to Terminal 2, they did this the night before with no problems.

Its the best location and therefor the best start to a holiday, price is subjective as always but its not silly at that price. I think I joined Club Carlson and got a discount last time and it was free to join.

It is worth the extra for the location. As someone else has said, the business lounge is brilliant

The difference is HUGE. We originally stayed at the Clayton then stayed at Raddisson Blu a couple of months later and it was like staying Club Level at Grand Floridian. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were awesome with my son (who is autistic wish short term memory loss and has a habit of asking way too many questions) and truly made our stay memorable. The time when my mum came with us, they ensured we had adjoining rooms even though we hadn't requested it and upgraded both of them. Absolutely can't fault them at all. We always look forward to our stay there.
