Great report 😃👍🏻
So nice to read one on the Maldives for a change!
My two favourite places are the same as you - The Maldives and Florida and my two favourite things are Disney and snorkelling

We spend hours every day snorkelling when in the Maldives
I need to get one of those full suits for next time though as the sunburn on my butt was pretty painful 😆

Thank you I’ve just added the food and drink section and still can’t get over how good it was… take me back!

I should have known having been before
I made sure I had a t shirt on but forgot about my butt and legs!
You get so absorbed though don’t you that you forget and lose track of time

Just found this and loved reading it. We go in 3 weeks, to a different island, but cannot wait.

I've got a webcam on constantly from another island checking the weather.

I'd not considered covering bums when snorkeling. We have t-shirts. Will a pair of shorts be enough?

Yeah should be enough
I wore a pair of shorts and a t shirt with sun cream on the backs of my legs after day one

Omg enjoy! 😍

A long tshirt/shorts would be fine. I got burnt just in a swimsuit so I’d recommend something if you can!

I keep looking at going back and trying another island… would love to go over my birthday in early March but it’s literally the most expensive time to go 🙈

Yes I wanted to go March or early April. My birthday is March too. But DS couldn't have time away due to exams.

I'm sure you'll get to go again.

Dec - feb is usually peak peak
I have quite a few people booked for March and it’s not too bad if you can be flexible on dates and airline

I think it’s because I was looking at the last week of Feb or first week of March to fly out… I think I’ll end up going off season again and crossing my fingers for the weather!
