If its a first cruise would firstly recommend the ships tours, we did this for our first few cruises until we got the confidence to book our own.

For Sicily, we used Sicily Life. sicilylife/

In Istanbul we used Daily Istanbul Shore Tours - dailyistanbultours/

Ephesus - Ephesus Port Tours ephesusporttours/

Naples is AP Tours (these are fantastic) aptours.it/

Thanks Samantha! Yes we got compensated for loss of clothing shoes make up etc, and also a nice future cruise voucher so have booked another cruise already for next year, sailing from Southampton on Celebrity Silhouette to the med for 13 nights. Am holding my luggage in my hands though!
