2nd Holiday of a Lifetime -3 weeks of bliss - Day 08

Day 08 - Thu 10/05/07 - Titanic / Golf

Me - Hayley - 34
Him - Justin - 35

Easy day again today - just can't do too much since still feeling pretty grotty.

IHOP for breakfast, which actually turns into lunch - both had Super Stacker Sandwiches & onion rings - so very tasty & simple - $21 including drinks.

Checked out Inkredible Ink on I'Drive - really friendly in there.

Off to Titanic Exhibition next - $20 each - well worth it, absolutely fascintating - can't get over how much stuff they can cram in there - the "ice" is just amazing - really makes you think.

My ticket made me First Class Passenger - Mrs Marian Longstretch Morris Thayer - thankfully I survived the trip, Justin wasn't so lucky, he was Second Class Passenger - Rev.Thomas Rousel David Byles and I'm afraid to report that he perished.

Stopped at Friendlys for a Sundae when we came out - I just love this place with a passion.

Then played Pirate Golf - a draw - so no gloating over supper tonight.

Head back to Friendlys and have the first of many good cheap meals there.

Never fancied the Titanic Exhibit... sounds as though you had a lovely time though. Well done on being one of the survivors.

Must admit - this really didn't appeal to me much either, but since I hadn't been feeling well, we were trying to fill our days with gentle stuff in walking distance of the hotel.

We had been lured in by the siren call (only so much Celine Dion you can take, it was playing constantly outside the place, but thankfully stopped by the time you got inside) but I've got to say, we really enjoyed it.

It made you think about conditions and the mistakes made.

The Titanic exhibition sounds interesting, and we always enjoy a game of golf at Pirate's Cove
