Nothing has been announced, there is a chance the strikes could be called off if not then I believe that British airways will start contacting passengers on the affected flights once the strike dates are announced

Just on LBC is around 50% of staff that will go on strike, BA think they can cover most of the flights - will be some cancellations but like the previous cancellations likely to be to destinations that have multiple flights a day and will try to move people so I think the disruption will be minimal. More risk of longer queues to check in and board.

Fingers crossed all sorted by then.

We fly on 17th August. It's cost an arm and leg, we don't know how early we have to arrive at Gatwick and the exchange rate keeps going down. It's kind of hard to get excited.

We fly to Miami on 26th😫

We’ve done online check-in and flown only with hand luggage for a while now. I think this will encourage more folk to do the same. My concern is our connection from NCL but if there’s enough notice, we’ll arrange another way to get down to LHR.

They are overworked and underpaid...as are a huge amount of the population of the UK... of course it was a generalisation... but they've been in dispute for years with BA over various terms and conditions

We fly to JFK en route to Ohio on August 2nd. This trip was first booked for 2020. Only the first leg is BA but I hope it goes or we will miss our connection. 😢
Just as one problem is solved, along comes another.
That said, BA need to stop treating their staff like rubbish!

These strikes are not building favour in my book. We are all in the same position yet not every employee is allowed to strike… police for example.

It’s annoying they are choosing school holidays for this action. After these unprecedented times we all need a good holiday especially children and parents.
