Gelato shops as well are divine. . We preferred the smaller ones, fave flavours included passion fruit, lemon, rocher and raspberry.

No we meant to, but really the goal of the holiday after three years of waiting was just to relax. And I worked solidly throughout lockdown so I was burnt out.
So a lot of sunbed sitting, swimming, we kayaked a lot in the sea and ate food. Taormina we went to by bus, for four of us it was £15 return total and buses very regular. Whereas the taxi was £20 each way so we are glad we chose bus. Gave us extra food money!

Taormina is beautiful Just before dusk, there’s a square up in the cliff where you get a beautiful view of bay and Etna. The shops reminded me of sorrento , with beautiful passages between and Juliet balconies. It’s buzzing at ten, eleven o’clock at night still and lovely to explore. Corso umberto to the place to head.

Thank you. We plan on relaxing too but the amount Etna tour with winery looks really good 😊
