We saw a couple too, a bit disappointing but still grateful.

I didn't realise how many planes go over here either.

We noticed a lot of planes too, which also looked pretty in the night sky. Plus we had a few bats flying around too, which was lovely to see. Far more entertaining than Saturday night tv 😀

I was watching with my son who is nearly 70 miles away, it was nice to feel we are under the same sky if you see what I mean.

I do know what you mean 💞 My adult children live in various parts of the country/world too, it’s nice to feel we are ‘closer’ by sharing these experiences

I thought exactly the same how many planes going over at night.

Also we have a bat that kept flying over and swooping!

We also had bats last night, 3 or 4 continually swooping round the streetlights getting their fill of moths.
