Third Time's A Charm - Day Fifteen - Home Time

Day Fifteen 23/09/2009 – Last Day

So today was our final day, which I was glad about, but also sad about, I can’t be the only one that likes to get back to normality, can I?

First on the list was going to The Mara to get breakfast and using our snack credits up to get the best value out of the plan! We brought a load of pastries and juice for our breakfast and lots of drinks and a few other things to use the credits!

We’d valet parked the previous night, so we called valet parking and checked out, taking our bags with us as we were about 3 doors away from the foyer, we also took all of our left over cans of drinks, bottles of water etc with us as mum had put a message up on here asking if anyone who was coming out soon would like them and Lynn was the first to reply so we were dropping those off to her for her October trip!

Lynn was staying at Coronado Springs Resort so we programmed our Sat-Nav to go there as we found it wasn’t too well sign posted from Animal Kingdom Lodge/Animal Kingdom and we got a bit lost!

We headed up to the Wal-Mart on St John Young Parkway to get a new lock for our suitcase, as we had seen that they sold them there on a previous visit; we had another look into PetsMart and got the cats some more toys! Spoilt little cats!

After that, we popped to Wendy Burger across the Parking Lot, ate that and headed off to the airport where we dropped off the car and had a little problem with the fact that we thought that our upgrade was free because of the Dollar Card that we have, but apparently it wasn’t, mum told the clerk and this was sorted out within about five minutes and settled by dollar as the original clerk didn’t point this out to us!

We checked in with no waits what so ever; again the joys of Upper Class! We then rest roomed, got on the monorail over to the terminal, threw away our remaining drinks and went through security before going into the American Airlines lounge in the bit that Virgin uses.

The flight home was uneventful, and I actually managed to get some sleep!

I only think that I managed to get any sleep because of having the fully flat bed, though it was only for an hour
