Travel day started well with our amazing view of the planes. It was very leisurely with our 1:35 flight so I enjoyed a bath and after a bit we went down for breakfast.

Positives here are allergins are cleaely marked and there's loads of different options. Negatives were that the lady in front of me had the last two hash browns and never came back - but I ended up with nice crusty bread instead.

If anyone's wondering about vegan options, all clearly marked and normal bits as expected. There was soy and almond milk, although the soy disappeared at some point. Also a soy yoghurt which I covered in toppings 😊

As above, so nice to enjoy in no rush. We left the room about 11 panicking about weight of my bag, as unusually I've brought quite a bit of food/drink with me (well port for the evenings and oat milk for my morning coffee) but under 20kg in the end so really no need to worry!

As we'd spent so long in breakfast, we didn't get any food in the terminal, just a drink each:

Called to the gate about 12:30. I'll update flight in a bit, just going to try and get back to sleep. Sadly waking up at 2am is not a jetlag thing, it's just a thing my body does these days. But at least I get plenty of reading time!

Breakfast at the Raddison is a proper feast, it looks like you had a great time! Good to hear your bag was within the weight limit too. 🩷

It says a proper feast indeed, we did a 'test run' a month before (did I mention I love watching planes &#128514 which says the first time we ate there and I loved it.

Got back to sleep about 4, but slept though until about 6 so that could be worse!
