Hi folks
Its time to start my trip report as we fly tomorrow for 7 nights staying at Cheapie Rosen Inn International, it’s cheap cheerful & next door to Dunkin & Denny’s & housekeeping comes daily unlike Disney
The only Disney we are doing is Mickeys Halloween party on the 10th
This holiday came about as last November we went with 10 of us including the 4 Grandchildren & we didn’t get to do much for ourselves, so we have this week to do things we want to do
Sun, Swimming & ……… SHOPPING 🙈
Wasn’t sure whether to put this in the dining report but as they’ll be lots of food I will 😋
I have been on a diet this week no cakes at all & lost a grand total of ……..2lbs 😳🤷which will swiftly go back on the first day 😂😂
When I told Dave the title of the TR he said it should be called
“ Dave’s week off from doing DIY “ 😝😝
So today I asked him to come home a bit early which as Dave is a workaholic is hard but he did arrive home at 2.15 very unlike him I did my work then we left for Gatwick at 3.20 arrive at Premier Inn London Road at 4.40 thankfully busy going the other way on M25

My pink case weighs only 14.5Kg & Daves small one is 13😂

Went to the lovely Gatwick Manor Pub next door to hotel

Dave wanted the signature burger again, he said it wasn’t the same as he had at Christmas different sauce 😬but he still enjoyed it
I had sausage & mash was tasty then of course dessert too 😋we both had large cokes very reasonable bill

I was good & had a mini vanilla cheesecake with caramel & a latte, it was gorgeous, I’ll start eating full-size when I get to the US
Dave had the Bakewell tart warm with custard
He loved it 👌

Fingers crossed our flight is on time tomorrow 🙏🏻🙏🏻after a 3 & a half hour delay today
Currently in PJ’s no doubt Dave will be asleep by 9 🤷🤷

I’m on a pre-holiday weight loss crusade too…I’m hoping for 10 pounds so that I can eat plenty of cakes 🤣

Following along Claire it will keep me going as I'm two weeks into my diet and I've lost 2lb. I need to loose another 6lb before we go in 5 weeks today.
I can look forward to looking at all the desserts I can have out there that I'm not having at the moment.
As a side note I stayed at the quality in international as it was called then, back in 1993 on my very first visit to Orlando. I remember going to that Denny's about 6 or 7 times for breakfast or dinner ,we loved it. So many great memories 😀

Well you will if we see any bargains I only want some Converse really, in November we only had one hour at the mall on our own 🙈
