Mnsshp 06:09:24 keep ‘em peeled!
We were at the party last night (and had been on the 30th too!) and just a reminder to be vigilant…
We parked the stroller to go on haunted mansion, leaving a Mickey halloween vinyl tote bag we had brought last year from Home Bargains in the UK (which was empty) and two mnsshp trick or treat bags (more or less empty) in the bottom of the stroller - when we came out the bags had gone. We were not sure if maybe one of the kids had in fact took them on the ride and lost them - but we were sure we left them under the stroller - but annoying but no harm done really - we thought maybe they had blown out or something ….. Bit later, after parade my dh went to get a drink - we were waiting by the castle still to watch the Sarandon sisters show - the rain came so we moved to shelter. We tried multiple times to call dh to tell him but couldn’t get through …. He found us as we had planned to go to Tomorrowland after the show …. And told us that his phone had been snatched out of his hand by someone in a plain black t shirt and trousers - they ran off to adventure land - with my dh in pursuit…. All the while we were ringing the phone …. He has another phone which he used to track the stolen one and found it thrown in shrubbery by aladdins carpet ride. I was so glad he had it back - it would’ve ruined the holiday - we are flying back Monday. But it goes to show that you can’t be complacent and even in the happiest place on earth there are those up to no good who roam….

A few years back, my granddaughters buggy was parked by the Carousel in Fantasyland... and someone stole the balloon off of it! Enjoy the rest of your holiday.

Wow! That’s awful.
Glad your DH got his phone back. Just shows you have to be vigilant wherever you are. |

Yes sadly you do - I heard a lady on the bus into MK today talking to her husband about her purse being taken out of her Loungefly in Epcot last week so she had listed it for sale online and it had been bought and how she would use her bum bag (fannypack) always now.

I'm amazed at how many phones are sticking out of the loungefly bags

That’s the problem with everyone always on there phones nowadays it’s an easy target. My DD is glued to hers but with the amount of guests fighting on social media and the prices they charge now with staff unhappy I’m surprised they not gone on strike like at Disneyland and Paris.

We've just been in Paris for the weekend and I bought a lanyard for my phone. Don't think it would take much to break the strap, but it feels slightly more secure than just having it in my hand 🤞🏻 (and have loved how easy it is to just snap photos so easily... )

I’ve got a loungfly and have bought a little carabiner. It doesn’t lock it as such but hopefully would make it more difficult for a thief to open.

Clip your purse and phone if you can to the inside of the bag too somehow - maybe an internal pocket zip?
