Miami! Absolute tourist trap. The whole place is an Instagram photo. Everyone has their hand out. Charges like a wounded bull. Saw more drugged up drunk homeless than I ever have in England. Never again. Also city break to Liverpool. I love a drink but the whole city centre is just Irish pubs and karaoke from dusk to dawn. (Or the large majority of the bits we saw) dirty as well. Never again which is sad as dad from there and massive LFC fan. Been to footy plenty but always in and out

Italy…

Rome and Pisa were just surrounded by scammers and pickpockets, which made it feel dangerous. Many places stunk like a toilet and the place was so packed as to be intolerable. Never again.

Of the places I've been it's basically metropolitan places like Manchester I don't like. Just far too busy & people always in a rush with no manors.

Baku, Azerbaijan - as ds said when we arrived and I said it looked fairly modern never judge a book by its cover. We stayed in what looked like a very modern apartment block but they had built a modern glass exterior all round the old building (fairly common) and inside was an absolute dump by western standards. It is an area with very very rich and some very very poor people who obviously struggle to make ends meet.

Mexico! Most dreadful holiday where we had to have armed escorts on every excursion due to people harassing you for money! Plus food poisoning from the apparently 5* hotel! I’ve never wished 14 days away more than I did here

I really didn't enjoy Costa Teguise in Lanzarote. It was so incredibly windy every day that it was too cold to sunbathe in August and going to the beach was out of the question as it was just like being sandblasted. I did quite like Playa Del Carmen though as it was much less windy and had a lovely walk along the front so I wouldn't write off the whole island.
Agree.
Wouldn’t go back there and I went on a geography field trip to Malta and wouldn’t go back there either.

Santa Monica
Playa something not far from Tarifa in Spain. Beautiful area and beach but extremely windy so sandblasted constantly
Florence just before Easter
