I hope your husband is ok and you have managed to speak to your insurance. They will be able to tell you how to proceed and hopefully take the stress away and you can concentrate on you and your husband.

Hope all is ok- i was recently in a similar position- there is a thread documenting what happened
Speak with your insurance via the emergency number (that’s what it is there for). They will advise you what to do in terms of contacting the airline with regard to your travel arrangements
There should be case management within the hospital who will be able to liaise with the insurance team with regard to when your husband is fit to fly.
