Bit the bullet - September solo trip booked!

Having spent months debating on whether to go solo I finally took advantage of the BA Club World sale and have booked 11 nights at the new Universal Surfside Resort. Fly out on the 15th of September

I've flown to the US before on my own but always met someone the other side.

Hoping the fact there is loads to do whether it be Universal or SeaWorld, coupled with shopping and a bit of relaxing will get me through!

Honestly I'm sure you will have a great time! Solo trips work well because you get to follow your own schedule and don't have to compromise!

you'll have a great time, I've mulled over the idea of a solo trip for a good year and I've decided that by hook or by crook I will be going next year whether it's solo or with someone!

Loved my solo trip (various bits and pieces in the links in my signature).

It's wonderful to have the freedom to do absolutely what you want and when.

You will be nervous before you get there, it's only natural. But once you check in at your hotel and go shopping or a park you will be fine. I go solo and I'm not very sociable but even I get into conversations with people in passing.

I did my first solo trip last September - 14 nights at Port Orleans French Quarter. It was the best holiday of my life. I'm also doing another one this September, 10 nights at Beach Club flying out on the 16th.

My first trip solo to Orlando was last September and then again in January. Planning at least one more this year
