anyone think disney prices are getting ridiculous

10 nights at CBR last july for 3 with tickets & upgrade to DDP (before construction discount) was 2912, for exactly the same for next year its 3627, thats approx 25% increase in 2yrs, i can't justify it, we not going to disney this year so going to upgrade universal passes to annual & give disney a miss again next year, obviously thousands of people have booked at the increased prices and this isn't by any means a criticism, i just can't stomach it myself

Not for us at least via WDTC. Just out of curiosity i dummy booked yesterday 14 nights pofq, upgrade to dining plan for 2a and 1c. Garden view is coming out at £3290 same as we are paying this year, slight increase in tickets and dining upgrade but no where near 25%

obviously the big increases must have been from last year to this year, i didn't even look at prices for this year cos DH wanted a break from disney so i can only compare last year to next year

Yes it's gone up just under 25% in 2 years for our CBR bookings too.

When we booked our 2017 holiday in 2016 during free dining offer, we paid room rate of approx £148 per night for CBR in August.

I've just booked our 2019 holiday and room rate is approximately £192 per night for August.

😳

Edit: Just worked it out - so it's around 22.5% more expensive for room rate for 2019 holiday than it was for 2017 holiday 😬

Edited at 06:30 PM.

If your room rate numbers are correct that’s a 30% increase, not 22.5%.

Still very reasonable IMO for what you’re getting, decent Hotel, Park access for 6 parks and mini golf, free parking at each, table service meals and snacks for ~£120pp per day.

I dread to think what you’d have to pay for that in the U.K.? 1 day at Alton Towers plus meals would probably be well over £100 and it’s nothing compared to Disney.

Free parking is no more I thought.

Well my holiday is exactly the same price as this year . AKL July for 10 nights , tickets free ddp and cheaper on other sites . So not all prices have increased . I don’t know the price the year beforecas we never went.

The price increases are tough. We’ve had to downgrade but when you work it out I have a decent deal.

2 adults CBR with full dining plan (paid upgrade) - £4000

If the Disney tickets are £800 and flights £1000 that’s £2200 for hotel, Dining Plan and $200 giftcard.

That’s £183 per night. Given DDP is £110 (£55 per person) that means hotel is £73 a night. And that’s ignoring $200 giftcard!

Still pretty good, just not as good as it once was
