Did it a couple of years ago and what we spent on the upgrade we saved on not having evening meals out as we went along for snacks and drinks. As our 4 day stay there followed a week at Disney on the dining plan we were happy not to have more evening table service meals so worked out nicely.

We’ve booked club at HRH for October. Because we are staying for 4 nights we think the extra cost is worth it (about £220) over the 4 nights for 4pp.

We will use the club room for 4 breakfasts, snacks, drinks inc alcoholic and our evening meals. We only plan on having 1 meal out at City walk. If staying for one night I probably wouldn’t bother unless it was really cheap. We went last October and one breakfast at Starbucks cost us nearly $50 so I think it’ll be worth it for us.

if your getting it for that money then yes it's worth it - when we last looked it was circa £180 extra per night so we didn't bother. We normally go for the bigger rooms now the kids are bigger with the family suite been our fav although we had a deluxe room last year which was a lot bigger than a standard but did not cost that much more

If you talk nicely (tip ) one of the servers at tea time he might put you together a bucket of bud to take down to the pool

It's drinks and canapés / snacks in the evenings, the club room doesn't provide evening meals.

We have rpr booked for one night, it was £80 difference for club which I don’t think is too bad really. Personally it’s wasn’t worth it for us, we don’t drink alcohol or frizzy drinks which I think is the major factor in making it cost effective. Also I know dh would moan about not having a proper meal if I suggested we only eat there.
Definitely see how it’s works for some.

Depends on how many of you there are. It would have cost us £60 per night this year, two of us. We would have had breakfast there but after that we didn’t think we would want to come back to the lounge for nibbles during the day and wanted to have proper meals not nibbles in the evening too.

So for two of us £60 per day for breakfast, no not worth it. I can see how it would work for others though, larger families with little ones that maybe do need a break or don’t want to eat out at night.

We haven't upgraded as quote was over £100 more per night and we are only there for 2 nights. If we were not going to be out most of the day at parks or we were a bigger party (only 3 of us) then may be different, but we wouldn't get anywhere near our money's worth on this occasion.
