I could write a book about my silly mistakes.

One holiday sitting in the airplane at 30000 feet DH said “look at the guy outside cleaning the windows”. Turned my head to look, family killed themselves laughing.

Last week on hols I’d forgot my swimming costume so had to go buy one then yesterday going to the pool at home forgot my towel

Just away with the fairies most of the time these days

* put top back to front (vneck)
* put top inside out
* walked out with a hair roller still in my hair
* coughed whilst having a cookie in my mouth in an important meeting and thereby sending crumbs all over the conference table
* thought a “chippy” was a chicken shop when I first moved to uk
* placed milk in cupboard and sugar in fridge numerous times
* wondered where my pantyliner had gone when in the loo , only to realise later when sitting in a meeting that it had transported itself to the bottom of my dress...

I have another work one. I was asked to run a new group initiative. It was to start of with a briefing, I sent a meeting invitation to 50 senior people in the organisation with the title “Lick off meeting”.

(Instead of “kick off meeting” btw - this was in Australia and kick off meeting was the appropriate language for this organisation).

I was in the middle of Walmart once when I realized I had my top on inside out. I dithered trying to decide whether to just blag it out it go to the restrooms and sort it out. I decided to leave it and carry on shopping but I still look at photos of people of Walmart expecting to see myself

I had to attend a meeting at work which was held in another building to the one I worked in. Off I went and asked reception where the meeting was and entered the room and sat down. It was only once the meeting started I realised I was in the wrong room. I had to stand up and apologise that I was at the wrong meeting. I left hearing around 15 people sniggering.

We were in Florida down in Cape Coral, I made us both a cuppa, mine tea and hubbys coffee and took them outside to drink by the pool. Hubby took about 3 sips and said this tastes odd. Well it would actually taste much better if I’d put the coffee in not just hot water!
