Sesame Street soft opens at SeaWorld

Ahead of the official opening date of the 27th March, Seasame Street opened at Seaworld this weekend. As well as Sesame Street itself, it includes rethemed versions of the old Happy Harbour children’s rides and a brand new parade - Sesame Street Party Parade.

No, not at all. Honest.

Even though our children don't really know sesame street (except the cookie monster and Elmo) I think they're going to love it! It looks fun, not sure how we'll get them out of there though and into the rest of seaworld.

Do you know if they’ve retained the climbing nets?
My boys loved them.

I don't think so. In the videos I've watched on YouTube, I haven't seen the climbing nets. There is a play area, but I think it's much smaller than the old play area that used to be there.

On Seaworld's new park map (see here), it looks like the climbing nets have been replaced by Sesame Street itself:

I’ve just seen pictures of the annual pass holder preview , it actually looks very well done and there are lots of details and food options from food trucks, it is much better than I thought it would be

I have a local friend who just went to the soft opening and the character meets were Cookie Monster and Elmo, so I think you’re in luck all round.

I love the look of the actual Sesame Street buildings because I grew up with Sesame Street, but I don’t love SeaWorld as a whole, so the struggle is real.
