Barcelona Hotels - August 2-17

We've stayed at the Novotel in Barcelona, three times now and fancied a change. We have just one night pre-Disney Magic cruise in August and need two rooms. Any suggestions nearer the Port, mid range with a pool. We arrive at 9am so want to put our bags in and use the facilities and have a wander before the room is ready.

We're on the Magic from Barcelona and have booked Grupotel Gravina for two nights before and two nights after the cruise. We initially wanted two connecting rooms but I emailed them and we have now booked a quad room for the 4 of us. I don't think it has a pool though but we plan to spend our time sightseeing so that's not a problem for us

We stayed at the Silken Diagnol, which is very near the Novotel. We had a suite room with 2 double beds, and two bathrooms. I *think* we got upgraded though, as I originally just booked 2 rooms. DH was going to have a peaceful night in one and me and DD in the other!
The silken does have a small rooftop pool.

We stayed at the Jazz hotel and can recommend.
