Alamo Car Hire - Sanford

Flying into Sanford this year for the first time in about 10 years.

Can we still do Skip the Queue for Alamo at Sanford and go straight to the garage to collect our car?

Thanks.

Nope you can do online check in but you still have to go to the counter, no garage just a huge car park.

To be fair they are great at Sanford, no pressures, usually off the plane (PE) through immigration and in the car within the hour

Thanks - last time we were in Orlando we were in Animal Kingdom Lodge within 90 minutes. Guess we have to queue at the counter then.

You can always use the self service kiosk machines if theres a queue at the counter (and if they have them switched on).

I think they only switch them on if they are really busy. Unless you are unlikely enough to land at the same time as a few other flights there is unlikely to be much of a queue. If you chek in online, then really all you are doing is giving them a credit card for a quick swipe and signing your paperwork

I flew premium last month, arrived at Alamo and there was nobody waiting at all, There was no hard sell, and then I was shown to the best int SUV in the line by another chap - I tipped him $5 as he took us to a brand new ford explorer, I have to say that most of them looked a bit beaten up, but there was about 20 to choose from.

It was a bit of a walk to Alamo mind and you have to cross 2 roads.
