New New York: A Helluva Town- Pre-Travel Day

Hello!

So, it's been a while since we have been back, but as you know life and work gets in the way!

Here goes with my first ever trip report- please be gentle!

Pre- Travel Day!

Originally I had planned on having a half day, finishing at lunchtime then heading up, however my Nana was coming down to look after our daughter and the cat so I decided to spend some time with her instead as we don't live close I miss her like crazy.

We live in South Wales so we decided to take train to Reading and get the bus from Reading to Heathrow. We left Cardiff at 12.35 and were in the hotel at around 4.00.

We stayed at the Park Inn Heathrow, we have stayed here a few times now, and it was nice to get an upgraded room.

We had a few drinks in the bar and then also had some food. Since we stayed last they have refurbished the restaurant, it used to be a buffet, but now does burgers, nachos etc. We had nachos and they were rather nice. I don't really do food pictures, so none I'm afraid.

We had a few more drinks in the hotel bar- can you tell we like to let our hair down on holidays! Then we called it a night as we had an earlyish start tomorrow.
