Recommendations for a night stay and parking at Port Canaveral

We are going on a 4 night Disney Dream Voyage in August. We are thinking of a night stay before the cruise and leaving the car, either at the hotel or parking rental.
Any suggestions on a hotel or parking will be appreciated.

Many thanks
stella

We stayed in Radisson Resort at the Port for one night last May. We relaxed by the pool and grabbed dinner there. Food was fine and overall the price was reasonable. We dropped the hire car back though as we were on a 7 night cruise so I'm not sure if you can do long stay parking there

A lot of US guests swear by Country Inn and Suites. We haven't used it but it's a popular place.

Hi Stella

We stayed at the Country Inn & Suites before our cruise and left our car here - we thought it was good value and although not the most luxurious/modern and not the best breakfast it was comfy and worth a one night stay!

We also stayed at the Country Inn and Suites last year, nice enough hotel and really close to the port. However we paid to leave our car at the port, as we wanted to be straight on our way after the cruise rather than going back to the hotel first.

This year we've booked the Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach - a balcony room which I hope will be nice. This comes in at a little higher price than the Country Inn and Suites, but they participate in the Port Canaveral parking voucher program which means 40% of port parking offsetting the difference so we thought we'd try somewhere else. Not that there was anything wrong with last year's hotel, we just like staying at different hotels!

I've never done it, but our TA booked a car to get us to the port, we drop it off, then pick up a new car after the cruise just to get to the airport. He said it was the cheapest way to do it?
