Sanford to Disney. 417 or i4?
So which is best and why?
I have been looking and I feel the 417 is very simple to get on and would appear to be the best option, less busy etc but is this right? Thanks!

We did the 417 from Sanford and tried the i4 on the return to the airport much prefer the 417 much less traffic and as a "getting used to the other side of the car Road" we found it perfect

They are both simple routes to drive.
I4 can be very busy depending on time of day and you could hit traffic around Downtown Orlando and again near Universal. 417 is a more scenic route if you like to see the open country. I4 will give you a better view of things like Downtown Orlando when driving through and also on approach to park areas you get a few good views that get you excited. Most say inexperienced drivers should take the 417.

Call me mad but I have just clicked the route on the 417 on google maps! It does seem to me more scenic with Lake Jessup etc.
We land at 15:30 so its going to be approximately 17:00 on the road, which I am guessing is a busy time. Think the 417 is the better option! Thanks

Have done both, use the I4 the first time we went, and the 417 everytime since, you have to pay the tolls but there is less traffic and it is a much easier drive after an 8 hour flight, for my route on at sanford and off at the 441 is $6.50 cash ,you can price it up at cfxway/for-travelers/
