New Sundowner Celebration at Disney's Animal Kingdom

At Disney's Animal Kingdom you will be able to take part in special events held throughout June 2012. Starting after the afternoon parade and going on until park closing.

Asia's Anandapur features a ‘Festival of all seasons’, Food Demos and a Street Party from 6.15pm. Discovery Island is entertaining guests with a Beautiful & Beastly Artist Market, Kids Discovery Club and Street Party from 6.15pm. Harambe Village offers the Mombassa Artist Market, Tusker House Dining & Wine Walk and at 6.15pm a street party.

The celebrations are expected to continue until 30th June 2012.

The Wine Walk prices are $11 for 6 tastings, $8 for 4 tastings, and $4 for the nonalcoholic juice tasting.

• Interactive activities at the flamingo exhibit

Harambe Village – Africa

• Wood-carvers, painters, jewelry designers and henna artists at Mombasa Marketplace

• Wine-Walk and Juice Tasting over-looking Harambe’s waterfront
• Street party

We've seen them trying out the 'street party' idea in the last couple of months and it is quite cute, especially in Asia. We suspect some elements will definitely stay on past June as the live music, etc, is easy to maintain. The Wine Walk is a really interesting idea and we may have to pop over this week and give it a try!
