Transatlantic Highs & Lows

We just got home after an absolutely amazing two weeks. The trip report is in the works but I thought I would do some highs and lows.

Highs
  • 14 amazing nights on the Disney Magic
  • 14 nights of lovely food
  • Meeting some lovely people
  • Wandering a deserted ship alone at 4:00 in the morning
  • An amazingly large room at the Tremont Hotel in Galveston
  • Great weather and smooth seas all the way across the Atlantic

Lows
  • There was absolutely NO tranastlantic branded merchandise. Dad asked why and apparently they just didn't bother this year. Those of you going next year might want to get on to Disney about that now or you will be as disappointed as I was.
  • Needing to wander a deserted ship alone at 4:00 in the morning.
  • Holding up the ship for 30 minutes at Madeira
  • Rough seas between Madeira and Gibraltar
  • Missing my girlfriend.
  • Getting off the Magic for what is probably the last time ever.

Look out for the trip report to find out why I was wandering the ship at 4:00 in the morning, why the ship was waiting for me, and why I am unlikely to ever do a cruise again.

Goodness! That's a cliff hanger if ever I saw one

I hope the reason you will never cruise again is a joyful one

Good to see your highs, I'm intrigued about your early morning ship wander and holding the ship up. Get writing quick please.
