Aquaventure at Atlantis

Has anyone been on this excursion to the water park in Nassau? Was it a good day and worth the $159 pp? I understand that you cannot book independently so booking through DCL seems the only option.

Any recommendations?

Hi yes we did it a couple of years ago during our first cruise on the Dream. I think you can pay separately to go in but we decided to do the organised trip as well (I'm not sure though but worth having a look on the Atlantis website). We had a good day and most of our group of 8 (consisting of 4 adults and 4 teens aged 19,19,18,17) really loved the waterpark, I much preferred Typhoon Lagoon though.. The lazy river is called a semi-lazy river and had a few moments - I capsized on the rapids and was a bit shocked! I'm glad we saw Atlantis though, fabulous resort and we walked onto the beach which was also lovely - but I know what you mean, it's a lot of money.

Thanks Karen. I have had a look on Atlantis website and it says $110 pp with no food inc. However Tripadvisor seems to suggest that I have to buy a night in Comfort Suites opposite to get a day pass. Who knows?

Will keep researching.
