Fantasmic Dining Plan

Is this worth doing? Does this save you having to get to Fantasmic really early?

What time can you turn up before the show?

Which restaurant would you suggest?

We have had this and chose Mama Melrose and its really nice in my opinion. You get preferred seating which is basically in the middle of the seating area. I would suggest getting there a while before anyway as if you want a drink the queues can be quite long.

We did this on our last trip and doing it again next one! Enjoyed the food at mama Melrose, thought the seating was great and didn't have to queue really early!

Guess it depends what time of year you're going?

Definitely worth doing, we done Hollwood & Vine last year [worst meal of our holiday!]... but its worth it for the seating tckets... we have booked again but this year doing Mama Melrose

H&V meal was terrible for us but getting decent seats is a big bonus

I used Hollywood and Vine twice before we tried Mama Melrose and wished we had done MM the previous times. Good atmosphere, good food, no choice for me

We had one of the best meals of our last trip at MM. helped no end by the most excellent server Kevin who went far beyond the service we normally expect. Maybe the fact we let it slip we were getting married the next day helped, but i have seen other reports of him being excellent.

Food is fab too.

We ALWAYS do the Fantasmic package and have done this at Mama Melrose and Brown Derby on the dining plan previously. This last trip we paid OOP for the Mama Melrose Fantasmic package and there was a huge storm and the show was cancelled - we didn't mind, as with what we'd ordered the set price was still cheaper than buying each course individually (only just through as DH is a vegetarian).

I would do it on every trip just to save having to queue, even though I know you can use fastpass - that section is near the edge - the dining section is right in the middle - they are GREAT seats!

I know it depends how busy it is but how early do you need to get there compared to not doing the dining plan?

We do it every trip paying OOP. We've done: Hollywood and Vine, Mama Melrose and Brown Derby, without a shadow of a doubt Brown Derby is our favourite. Really looking forward to our meal there in August, now they've opened the lounge we usually do that too x
