I love it. Old style, perfect service, good food and a very tranquil, relaxing ambiance.

Have to agree - another yes from us... Definitely worth it... yes its expensive... but is definitely a unique experience. We went a couple of years ago and hope to go again on our next trip - we ate in the Queen Victoria Room which seats 8 guests only at 4 tables. The food was amazing (adapted to suit our personal likes/dislikes too) and cant fault it in any way (we didnt do the wine pairings as didnt think we could handle it so stuck with cocktails instead as we are not big drinkers) :-)

We are booked to go in November for our 10th Wedding a Anniversary and CANT WAIT!
We are doing the 7 course and hopefully with wine pairings but I can't seem to get any clarification as to the size of glass you get with each course? When I have googled it, replies have been anywhere between 2 - 4oz! If it's only 2oz, that's $105 for just half a bottle of wine over the course of the meal. There are Champagnes that start at $95 for a bottle... so you could get two bottles of champagne for the price of the wine pairings. If anyone knows the size of glass ... I would greatly appreciate it!

You can just order a bottle of wine and any left they will just re cork it for you to take home in a brown paper bag to finish later with your walnut cake.

I wouldn't like to guess the measure, but they are 'proper' glasses of wine not samples! Here are two examples from during our meal a couple of years ago
