Returning an item to Disney
Does anyone have experience of returning something to Disney? Mother in law bought a watch last year and the glass has fallen out (within 12 month warranty).
Not sure what they'll offer as a solution, hopefully being Disney it won't be a problem. Will have to pop into Disney Springs when we go. |

They replaced a blanket that had loose threads for me straight away. Disney seem to be really good with replacing things.

I bought two Anna and Elsa dolls for someone when we were in Toronto when they were like gold dust over here.
After a month both stopped working properly, I could'nt find the receipt and the lady I had bought them for had paid me, Disney over here in the UK did every thing they could to find replacements to no avail. All I did was send a copy of my credit card statement( with all the important bits blacked out) and Disney refunded the lady here in the UK. I was well impressed with that. Edited at 03:48 PM. |

I bought my DD a t shirt in November 2015 to give her for Xmas that year.
Roll on June 2016 when we getting ready to return to Florida and I asked her about the t shirt. She said it really wasn't her colour and had never worn it. I took it with us on holiday that month and asked in Mouse Gear in Epcot if the could exchange it for a different one, even though I no longer had the receipt, and they said no problem. They didn't even stock it any longer but as it still had the tags on they were able to find it on their systems. She choice a sweatshirt and we paid the difference. One happy DD and one happy Mum. Once again wonderful customer service from Disney. I don't think I could try that in M&S!

I bought DS a disney train set in sept 2006 as a Christmas present, when he unwrapped it on Christmas day, one of the axles was missing on a carriage. We took it back in 2008 and it was replaced without question, just the carriage that is, not the whole set.

I bought a red polka dot Minnie handbag one August. Used the bag for 1 weekend the following June and the clasp broke. I hadn't kept the receipt but it was obviously VERY lightly used and was still current stock. I took it back to World of Disney at DS in the August ie 1 year after original purchase (since we had a prebooked stay scheduled) and explained the situation. They immediately swapped it for a new one. I was very impressed with their customer service.

Customer service has been fantastic over there, not Disney but I purchased earrings from Tiffany in the Mall at Millenia. Pearl came away from the stud and I asked if they could do anything (3 years later with no receipt on me), I was willing to pay. They repaired within 2 hours, free of charge.
