Weight loss before and after
Hi all,
Can't quite believe I'm going to do this but I'm posting a picture of me before and after my 5 stone weight loss! I know that I have done well with the weighloss although I still have more to lose but I would like some advice from you lovely dibbers 😊 From the weight loss I now have a number of wobbly bits that are starting to get me down. I brought a Davina DVD and some 2kg weights to do a morning work out with, I got bored of the same DVD and ordered a treadmill, I go on it every morning and run between 1-2 kms a day which I know is not great but is exercise. The wobbly bits are still there and mainly are my arms, my legs and my tummy. A friend has said that I should start at a gym but this is my issue! I know I'm not as huge as I was but the thought of going to a gym fills me with dread, I still see myself as the person on the left in my head. I know this is silly and everyday I get told how much better I look and I know they are right but I still see myself as I was before. So Dibbers, I need advice what can I do at home to free myself of the wobbly bits? Does anyone know if it is possible to meet with a PT to discuss but not at a gym? I am hoping I can start to overcome how I feel by posting a pic on here and that this may be my first step towards addressing it. Any advice would be appreciated 😊

Wow well done and you look fantastic ... I'm trying to lose weight it's slow and steady and I was half a pound short of three stone lost until I had again this week 😳 So love seeing others photos of how well they have done on their weight loss journey.
I loath the gym always have always will I've tried a few and just can't get on with them but I walk a lot my health has improved no end since I got my Fitbit and I now join in lots of walking challenges I also love to swim, that's about my extent of exercising. Could you maybe look around a few local gyms and see if they do women only sessions they might make you feel a little more comfortable , I went to a gym in my local holiday inn which isn't the biggest or the best and that was the one I liked the most because of that, it wasn't part of a chain and had a few personal trainers who would help you out, maybe something like that? You look fab 😀 |

you can do it home. You can get some basic equimpent as
resistance band/strap as trx, the cheaper versions on amazon are sometimes nearly identical! few kettlebells bodypump barbell adjustable dumbells step that you can use as bench you don't need all of them, but this can start you off there is one by one nutrition test group on facebook, they are testing their new website and people can view their workout section for free. It's very solid and minimal equipment with workout videos you can find trainer to have a home program made for you too you can try some of the youtube channels for home workouts But also gyms - most regular goers know what it takes and will be only happy if you succeed. Don't fear it. |

I think you look amazing and you should join the gym, it'll help you grow in confidence and if you would prefer a PT then they will show you the ropes. It'll be the start of another new journey for you, go for it!

Wow you look amazing,well done.
I also hate the gym but have been going to a personal trainer once week who uses my local gym. I've lost nearly 2 stone, and I feel like I'm getting more toned by using the appropriate machines. The gym used to scare me with all the big machines and fit People but I don't mind being there with my trainer. I tell her what areas I want to work on and we concentrate on that. There is no way I would go to a gym on my own. A personal trainer isn't cheap but worth every penny for me 😁
