I find the water so spooky at night, when you look out over the dark ocean its so eerie.

He must have been terrified in the water for so long.

If I'd been a passenger on the Wonder I'd have thought I was seeing things

Apparently some guy on board the Wonder was 'tweeting' reports of what was happening the whole time..updating everyone on the rescue!

What a lucky man!

Bit of a drastic way to change ships though!

This is my nightmare on a cruise ship and i am worried sick about boys. They are older and not silly plus too young to consume alcohol on an american ship but it still scares me. Why did i get them balcony rooms?

I am pleased the man was saved, how scary would that have been and his poor family onboard Carnival.
How old are your boys? It is 21 to drink on American boats but if from the UK or other countries with lower alcohol limits you can be allowed to drink. Ask this when boarding and they will put a sticker on your boys sea pass card. I believe some children at 16 have been served wine etc at the main restaurant.

A bit off topic but thought I'd let you know

I remember in 2000 when we were in Nassau and they did a firework show from the false funnel on the "Disney Wonder". The "Carnival" was moored alongside and all its guests came overto their rail to watch wondering why they weren't getting that kind of show.
Well, done Wonder crew in rescuing this guy.
