WDW - Port Canaveral

Can anyone give me an idea of how long it takes approximately to get to/from Port Canaveral in a private taxi?

Also, what time do you disembark from the ship? I would need to give a time for the taxi to pick us up & take us back to WDW but I don't know if there's a set time to get off.

i recon it takes just about 65 minutes by car to the dock its just a straight run, and disembarking from the ship takes roughly maybe an hour after docking i think it goes deck by deck starting from top deck first ...

Yes its usually just under an hour depending how far from Orlando central you are staying and the traffic etc.

Disembarkation is early and quick - we have never rushed off the ship (quite the opposite infact) and we've always been off well before 9am.

From the AKL area it took about 1 1/4 hours to the port by car. My husband dropped us off and was told to pick us up at 8:30AM. This worked out just right but you could leave it abit later. We had assigned breakfast times last month and were expected to disembark straight after but didn't have to wait for certain decks to be called. Disney has enough room to set out all the luggage at the same time eliminating this hassle.

Have a great cruise. My DD6 is still saying she wishes we were still on the ship.
