On our last 4 trips we had;
Jeep Cherokee from Dollar - plenty room for 4, but just adequate boot space: Chysler 300 (luxury ?) - Dollar - plenty room for 4/5, good boot space, but drove/handled poorly, and had poor visibility - worst car I've had out of 11 trips: Mercury Grand Marquis (luxury) - Dollar - declined a Chrysler 300 and opted for this - V8 power and room for 6 - huge boot and drove really nice - 80 was achieved at 2000 rpm - would choose again: Dodge Charger - Dollar - did all we needed for 4 adults - plenty room and large boot. A good choice for a full size car - would recommend: |

Place you picked the car up from:- Sanford Orlando
Catergory of car hired:- 8 seater minivan Make of car you got:- I can't remember, I'll ask DH Hire car company used:- Thrifty through usrentacar When :- September 2008 I didn't manage to get a pic of the lugage in but we got in 9 cases,a buggy and a HUGE box with an American Indian statue in it easily. It was really spacious inside even with 8 of us (5 adults and 3 kids) and DD2 being in her carseat.

Picked the car up from:- Orlando International (MCO)
Catergory of car hired:- 7 seater minivan Make of car you got:- Dodge Grand caravan Hire car company used:- Budget via usrentacar When:- Feb 2009 Fantasic service from usrentacar at short notice on a Saturday they even stayed late to ensure they got a voucher over to us as we left that day for an airport hotel. THANK YOU usrentacar! First time with budget and it won't be our last as their service was super with a friendly face and no hard sell. Chose the 'silver' option as you get an extra driver anyway with budget so yet another thumbs up. Great clean car with tons of space. The pic you see actually has 6 cases in the trunk just thrown in with space for more! (one big case is hidden from view deep in the trunk). |
