So tell me, Freedom of the Seas

Just booked today to do my first ever cruise. I chose Freedom as it looks fab basically.

The new Oasis looks amazing as well but at £400 per person more expensive i decided not too. Maybe next time.

So what can you tell me about Freedom and cruising in General? Tips?

Oh congratulations on your 1st cruise! Your gonna love it.

Are you 1st or 2nd seating for dinner? Check your dinning table before you sail to see if you like where it's located. If you don't like it's position get in touch with with the maitre d' to get it changed.

Also get to the shows at least half an hour before show time. The Freedome is a streatched Voyager class but they didn't make the theatre an bigger, so it can get really busy. Sometime standing room only on production show nights.

Try the speciality resturants. You have to book it and there is a charge to eat in them. Worth it though and the views are brilliant.

Hope you have a fantastic time

Thanks ! I can see I am going to be asking you lots and lots of questions

I didnt know i would find out where we sat. I think I am first seating, 6.30pm. The reason I thought was then we could eat, see a show and stay out having drinks opposed to show, eat then drinks?

I don't know, probably doesn't make any difference. DO you think the later on is better?

I am going to log in and add on the soft drinks package also although i am disappointed water is not on that though.

Also need to see what excursions are available. So much to do, learn and plan !

We are going on Freedom next month - can't wait, it looks so amazing!

We are on 2nd seating for dinner, I'll probably fill up on pizza etc in the day to keep me going until then

How do you find out the location of your table?

Your table number will be on your cabin sea pass card. When you get on board, familiarise yourself with the ship and take a wonder into the dinning room to check out where your table is

You know RCI quite well.. Late seating in the Caribbean is 8.30.. Why is it 9.30 in the Med?
