Mobile Ray Ban wayfarer cost?

My son wants to buy some with black frames and orange lens.

Vision Express have them on sale for £99 here in the UK. Are they cheaper in Florida when you add sales tax on?

Can't answer your specific question, but if your son wants a specific pair and is happy with the price, I would buy them here. You might find 'something' cheaper if he is prepared to go for different styles, colours, etc.

How much are you really going to save and does it justify the risk...

Has he tried googling online opticians?

Hope you find a bargain either side of the pond

Cheapest pair I found was $119 which worked out at about £85 with tax & a rate of about 1.5.

Slight saving but not amazing. £99 is a good price, the cheapest I found int he UK before I went was £125.00

I've bought 2 pairs from amazon.com and had them delivered to the villa with no problems, the ones your asking about are $86.45 plus $6.90 delivery so would work out about £60.

I would check your local opticians. I get my RayBans from one that does them for £79 and they are happy to order any that I've seen in other shops.

I think the ones I bought in Florida were the most expensive. About $120 for black new style wayfarers from Sunglass Hut.
